Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by...

I started this blog in 2010 with my own version of an "Eat, Pray, Love" trip through Japan and Australia. I got attached to the name, but now Sushi on the Barbie really just means finding adventure wherever you go. My latest quest uproots this California girl to start a new life in the Pacific Northwest! Warning: my food posts usually cause involuntary salivating.
