Arigato Gozaimasu!
That is Japanese for “Thank you very much.” Thank you all so much for following me on what’s already been an amazing journey so far. Yoyogi Park is one of the largest parks in Tokyo, within the neighborhood called Shibuya. This is a popular local hangout, especially on Sundays where you can find people playing music, dancing, practicing martial arts, etc. This Sunday was no exception- check out the cutest kid getting all rock ‘n roll with it!

Throughout the last 2 weeks I spent saying goodbye to friends in preparation for my trip, the word that always came up was “excitement.”

Attack of the Japanese Toilet!
Today, among the other things I experienced on my first day in Japan, I discovered the Japanese public toilet. Much to my approval, the Japanese are very neat and clean. I HATE using public restrooms, but I think I’m going to survive here.
